Walks

What did Mary & I do during her visit, you may ask?

We did chores mostly.

Mary was such a great help around the farm,
she helped with the everyday chores, like washing dishes, laundry, hanging the laundry on the line, (getting stung by a wasp - twice)

also garden chores,
picking pie cherries, pitting the cherries & thinning apples,
helping me milk the goat, feed the cow & goats & chickens,
and of course collecting The Egg,
farmer Keith had her help moving the wheel lines, and weeding in the vineyard.
We also went on walks.
On this walk, we came upon a flock of geese in the alfalfa field.
Can you see them?
They are there, in the air by the wheel line.
About 20 of them.
The dogs came upon them before we did so we only saw them in flight.

Cinders favorite water(mud) hole -
conviently place at the half-way mark of our daily walk.

Even the farm animals join in our walks - sort of.

Home again, home again, jiggity jog.
